Abram is a physician assistant specializing in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. He began working with Dr. Uggen in March 2020.
Originally from Southeast Michigan, Abram completed his undergrad at Grand Valley State University, magna cum laude, with a BS in Allied Health science. He worked as a Resident Assistant in the Frederik Meijer Honors College and was active in various organizations on campus. After undergraduate studies, Abram went on to complete his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in December 2018, also at GVSU.
Prior to working in Orthopedics, Abram worked in Pain Management and is sensitive to the role of chronic pain in patient’s lives.
Abram is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA) and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery (PAOS). Outside of work, Abram enjoys playing tennis, hiking, reading, and listening to podcasts. Abram currently lives locally in the Kalamazoo area.
